Fuchsite Skull

Fuchsite carved skull.  This piece suffered a very small break along the jawline on one side but is otherwise completely unharmed.  Thereby this piece has been discounted.

Dimensions:  7cm x 10cm x 7cm

Fuchsite crystallizes in the monocliniccrystal system. Common colour of the mineral is pale green to emerald green depending on the amount of Cr substitution. The micaceous crystals are flexible and slightly sectile with a hardness of 2-2.5 on the Mohs scale.
